How a repair works
- Inspection and photos. We trace the leak or damage to its source, which is often not right above the stain, and photograph what we find.
- Written repair price. You get an itemized quote for the repair. If a repair won’t last, we tell you why and what the alternatives cost.
- Permit. The City of Calabasas requires a reroof permit before repair work begins. We pull it and schedule the inspection.
- Repair with matching materials. We use the closest available tile, shingle, or membrane and keep the roof’s Class A fire rating intact.
- Photos of the finished work. You see what was fixed, including the parts that are hidden once the tile goes back on.
Repair or replace?
Most roofs with a single leak or a few damaged areas only need a repair. When leaks keep coming back in different places, or the underlayment has failed across most of the roof, repeated repairs cost more over time than a roof replacement. A roof inspection tells you which situation you’re in, with photos to back it up. Our repair or replace guide lists the signs you can check yourself.

Frequently asked questions
Can you repair a tile roof without replacing it?
Usually, yes. Cracked or slipped tiles can be replaced one by one, and if the underlayment has failed in one area, we can lift the tile there, replace the underlayment and flashing, and relay the sound tile.
Do I need a permit for a roof repair in Calabasas?
The City of Calabasas requires a reroof permit before roof repair, recovering, or replacement work begins. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection as part of the job. Our Calabasas roof permit guide explains the steps.
Will the repair match my existing roof?
We source the closest available tile profile, shingle, or membrane and can move salvaged tile from hidden areas to visible ones. We show you the match before we start.
